We actually set out to look for this curry laksa place. But due to moi, we arrived there late and the food was sold out. So using Al's GPS gadget, we decided to try out this prawn mee place which is situated along Jalan Pahang - some people have alleged that this was the best prawn mee in town.
It's called Tan Kee - a little shop which only sells prawn mee.
When the food was served, it looked promising!
There were large prawns on each bowl. And the surprise was that it was served with some pork ribs too. The meat was tender! The soup was a little salty.
The damage - RM24 for the 3 of us!!!! That includes 3 bowls of prawn mee and 3 iced chinese tea. The mee should be RM7.50 a bowl which isn't so bad seeing the size and amount of prawns served.
However, we really din think much of it. The prawns were nice and big. The pork was yummy. Overall, it wasn't bad but it sure wasn't that good. It lacked the prawn taste in the soup. But that's our view anyways.
