It was a belated birthday celebration for me sis-in-law and we ended up at Subang Parade. I suggested going to Sakea Sushi since i knew she liked Japanese.
It was a Saturday night and there was a queue formed outside when we reached there. A good sign.
i was hungry and i started off with this before the mains arrived.
It was rice and mango wrapped with salmon. The mango went really well with it.
I had Chicken Katsu Curry rice. it was kinda small for me - yes, i'm comparing with the portions found at Misato, London (must blog about that another time). But it was nice. Typical Japanese curry. The photo was too blurry so i won't embarrass meself by putting it up!
Me sis-in-law had the Beef Bibimba - according to me sis, this is a Korean style dish.
Basically, the food is served on a hot stone bowl. Not too bad.
I ordered soft-shell crabs which were nice too.
And i really wanted to try their special makimonos - i ordered the Sunshine Maki - generally prawn in rice wrapped with mango. A wonderful blend of tastes. Nice!
Another plus point of this place is that they have kiddies sets too. Me niece had a 'Minibus' set!
Will definitely go there again. It came up to RM210 (around 30 quid) for 5 adults and 2 kids.
